New Zodiac Dates 2011, According to the Minnesota Planetarium Society, the zodiac signs we use today are not in sync with the ones the ancient Babylonians used to go by.Zodiacs were determined by what constellation the sun was in on the day you were born. However, throughout the millenniums the gravitational pull of the moon has caused the Earth to
“wobble” around its axis, creating a one month change in the stars’ alignment. The Babylonians also used the sign “Ophiuhus” between Scorpio and Sagittarius, but dropped it because they wanted 12 signs instead of 13.
And the new “correct” signs are…
Capricorn: Jan. 20-Feb. 16
Aquarius: Feb. 16-March 11
Pisces: March 11-April 18
Aries: April 18-May 13
Taurus: May 13-June 21
Gemini: June 21-July 20
